Lloyd’s broker MNK Re continues rapid expansion with UK Specialty launch
London 9 November 2021 MNK Re Limited, the leading broker of worldwide specialist risks into Lloyd’s, is launching MNK Re UK Specialty Ltd to focus on UK wholesale and retail business.
This new business will build out a wider category of risk solutions, providing an enhanced offer to the market and will initially focus on developing unique wholesale and high net worth lines. The UK Specialty team is led by Grahame Lamb, Richard Daws and Jonathan Britton, who bring to MNK Re Group deep subject expertise and decades of experience in the UK market.
Grahame Lamb previously spent over 10 years serving as Executive Board member of an independent brokerage where he managed the personal and claims divisions. He has a proven track record for building high-performing and cohesive teams of expert brokers that create transformative products for commercial and private clients.
Richard Daws has spent his career launching and designing categories of risk, with innovation front of mind. He has decades of experience in personal and wholesale lines, from which he has developed extensive market knowledge and contacts.
Jonathan Britton is joining MNK Re following years spent in both sales and marketing for all types of General Insurance. His specialist knowledge encompasses MGAs, schemes and wholesale broking and he has worked across a wide range of areas in insurance, including financial services, corporates and the commercial sector.
