Srini leads MNK Re’s DIFC branch. He is responsible for the development and servicing of the business emanating from the MENA region and also in utilising the reinsurance capacity available in the region for the benefit of the Group as a whole.
Prior to joining MNK Re Group, Srini has worked in the insurance industry for over 36 years, spread over India, Oman, Dubai and Bahrain. He was CEO of Dar Al Takaful in Dubai. Prior to that he was CEO of AL Ahlia Insurance Oman and Arabia Falcon in Oman. Srini has extensive knowledge of the Insurance Practices in the Middle East and has proven track record in company transformation, mergers and acquisitions.
Srini is a Commerce Graduate, qualified as a Chartered Accountant from India. He is also a Fellow Member of the Insurance Institute of India and an Associate (ACII) of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has been a regular speaker at Business Events in Oman and as a teacher (honorary) for Insurance Students.
