Seetharaman is responsible for underwriting and business development for various facultative marine risks, including specie risks and contingency covers from the Middle East, Asia & Africa in particular, and worldwide in general.
Prior to MNK Re, Seetharaman was Underwriting Manager at Munich Re Syndicate M.E. Ltd. (Syndicate 0457), developing and producing Marine & other Specialty lines of business, specialising in Marine Cargo and Specie classes. He was involved in identifying & capturing opportunities for strategic partnerships. Seetharaman has over 30 years of insurance industry experience, working with Munich Re Syndicate M.E Ltd., Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (AMERT) and National Insurance Company – Indian PSU.
Seetharaman is a Certified Fraud Examiner from ACFE, USA, and has completed the General Management Program from IIM Ahmedabad, India. He holds a Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India.
